Our Dublin based Biopharma Research and Training client is looking to hire a highly skilled Bioprocessing Trainer. The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver training content that will be delivered to a wide variety of clients in the bioprocessing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of training material including lectures and practical content in upstream, downstream, fill finish and other areas relating to biopharmaceutical production (e.g. CGT, Vaccines, CQV, Quality Control)
  • Day to day operation of pilot production plant facilities and laboratory equipment in company pilot production training facility.
  • Implementation and maintenance of documentation for the facility and business activities (SOPs, production batch records, project proposals and technical reports).
  • Design, and delivery of customised training materials to specific corporate clients, online, or at the client’s site, when required
  • Measurement of training effectiveness using a variety of assessment tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Applicants will be expected to hold a PhD/MSc in related scientific field (Life Science/Biopharmaceutical Processing/Engineering) OR a BSc in a related scientific field combined with relevant (bio) pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • The successful trainer will be a motivated self-starter, capable of working under their own initiative as part of a busy and dynamic training team.
  • Detailed practical knowledge of any of bioprocessing (eg. cell culture, upstream operations, purification or downstream operations, drug product or fill finish operations)
  • Previous teaching/training experience is desired but not essential
