Are you an experienced Buyer/Planner with expertise in the packaging category and a strong track record in SAP-driven procurement, materials planning, and supplier relationship management? Join our high-performing supply chain team supporting critical manufacturing operations.
This role is essential for ensuring timely, cost-effective availability of raw materials. While not directly revenue-generating, it significantly mitigates risk and supports total cost-of-goods optimization across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize end-to-end procurement and purchasing processes within the packaging category.
- Manage supplier performance and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships to improve forecasting, purchase orders (POs), and invoicing efficiency.
- Oversee the complete PO lifecycle: creation, submission, maintenance, and closure.
- Execute materials planning using SAP ERP/MRP, Min-Max systems, and consumption data.
- Identify and implement process improvements across procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate material master data in SAP.
- Develop supplier scorecards and monitor performance KPIs.
- Conduct regular supplier meetings to align on demand and forecasts.
- Resolve PO/invoice discrepancies and manage return-to-vendor (RTV) processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in SAP for procurement or planning roles.
- Strong communication, analytical, and supplier management skills.
- Experience specifically in the packaging category is highly desirable.
