I'm currently partnering with a long-established and highly respected food manufacturer in Cork that is looking to appoint a Quality Team Lead to their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team
- Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System
- Manage BRC, HACCP, TACCP and GMP compliance
- Lead internal audits and support third-party/customer audits
- Drive CAPA, quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with customers and regulatory authorities
- Support the Technical Manager across site quality activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Food Science, Nutritional Science or a related discipline
- 4–5+ years' experience in a similar Technical or Quality role within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, TACCP and Food Safety legislation
- Experience leading audits, maintaining QMS and working within an FMCG environment
