We're supporting a growing engineering consultancy delivering capital projects across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with project coordination or project management experience who is looking to further develop their career within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of mechanical engineering projects from concept design through commissioning and handover.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Assist with project scheduling, resource planning, progress reporting and risk management activities.
• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities including design reviews, equipment selection, procurement, installation and commissioning support.
• Oversee the delivery of mechanical systems such as HVAC, process piping, clean utilities, and building services within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or industrial project environments.
• Previous experience coordinating mechanical projects, engineering work packages or client-facing engineering activities.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, clean utilities, process piping or building services is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
