We are partnering with a global manufacturing organisation in Cork to recruit a Manufacturing Automation Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automation professional to lead a high-performing team while driving automation strategy, digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across a busy manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Automation and MES team.
- Drive automation strategy and support digital manufacturing initiatives.
- Oversee automation projects from concept through implementation and operational support.
- Ensure the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems.
- Build strong relationships with Engineering, Operations, Quality and site leadership teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree qualified in Automation, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' technical experience in automation, manufacturing systems or industrial controls within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing team.
- Strong hands-on automation experience, with exposure to PLC-based manufacturing systems and automation project delivery.
