This is an immediate contract opportunity supporting evening EHS construction activities on a live pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The successful candidate will provide EHS oversight, ensuring works are carried out safely, in compliance with site procedures and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide EHS support during evening project works (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm).
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Conduct routine site inspections and safety observations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and intervene where unsafe acts or conditions are identified.
- Ensure permits, risk assessments and method statements are followed.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors and client representatives to maintain safe project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- PSCS/PSDP qualification desirable.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Experience supporting construction or engineering projects, ideally within pharmaceutical or industrial environments.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead on-site safety matters.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Contract Details
- Immediate start.
- Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm.
- Initial 5-week contract (Possibility to extend)
